Thank you for having a look at this page, here is a bit about me.
My day job is within IT as a network administrator but a few years ago I settled in Oxfordshire, got married and changed my outlook on life a little. In 2016 I took up running which allowed me to run 10K’s, Half marathons and a few full marathons. I am certainly no athlete, but these events brought friendships, confidence and a degree of determination that had been lacking.
Late on in 2018 I found that I had an idea for a UK based thriller, so I tentatively wrote about 20 pages. From there I figured I could write 50 and the project rolled on until I had over 400 pages and a full draft. Whilst my thriller moved slowly forward, I started posting poems to my Facebook author page. I built an audience and to date have posted over 150 poems there. This is all part of my onward learning curve as I try to improve as a writer.
A year later a couple of poems were accepted to be published in a charity book – Dipping Toes in Literary Waters Volume 2. It helped as a motivator and I have now self published the poem collection under the title ‘Reflecting on Moments in Time.’
I’ve worked with a couple of publishers during the last few years, but nowadays I’m independent, focusing mainly on historical, psychological and action thrillers. Though every now and then I dip into comedy.
I hope you stick around and become part of my writing journey.
